Competition Rules for the Year 2024

• The competition consists of two rounds and has international status.
• The competition is open to violinists who attend music schools, conservatories, secondary and high schools, or private lessons, study the prescribed repertoire, and meet the age limit in their respective category.
• Participants are grouped into two age categories based on their year of birth.
• Performance by heart is required.
• Adherence to time limits is mandatory.
• Failure to comply with competition rules may result in disqualification.
• The competition organizer does not provide piano accompaniment.
• Competition performances are open to the public.
• The number of participants may be limited for logistical reasons in case of high interest. The date of application submission is crucial for inclusion.
• Simultaneous participation in both the competition and the Festival of Talent is not possible.
• The organizers assume no responsibility for underage participants in the Talent Showcase and are not liable for any damages that may occur, caused by them in the Grand Concert Hall of the Conservatory České Budějovice or in the building of the Conservatory in České Budějovice, Kanovnická 22.
• During the competition, the organizers will make audio and video recordings, which remain the property of the organizers and can be freely used for promotional purposes in broadcasting, television, on websites, and in the press without any claims from participants or their legal representatives - the rights of performers regarding these recordings cannot be asserted.
