Terms of the Festival of Talents in 2024

• The Festival of Talents is a single-round event for participants in the 1st and 2nd age categories. For participants in the 3rd - 6th age categories, it consists of two rounds.
  It has an international status.
• The festival is open to violinists attending music schools - state or private, students of secondary schools, or privately studying individuals. Participants must prepare the prescribed repertoire and meet the age limit for their respective category.
• Placement into the six age categories will be based on the year of birth.
• Memorization is a requirement - except for sonata literature.
• Adherence to time limits is mandatory.
• Participants are responsible for arranging their own piano accompaniment.
• Showcase performances are open to the public.
• The number of participants may be limited due to time constraints in case of high interest. The decisive factor for inclusion will be the submission date of the application.
• Simultaneous participation of one candidate in both the festival and the talent showcase is not allowed.
• The organizers do not accept responsibility for underage participants in the talent showcase, and are not liable for any damages that may occur within the Grand Concert Hall of the Conservatory in České Budějovice or in the building of the Conservatory in České Budějovice, Kanovnická 22.
• Audio and visual recordings will be made by the organizers during the showcase, and they remain the property of the organizers. They can be freely used to further promote the event through radio and television broadcasting, on internet servers, and in print, without requiring consent from the participants or their legal representatives - performers' rights related to this recording use cannot be enforced.
